Job Profile Summary:

Responsible for providing engineering expertise under the direction of a Project Manager for delivering a substantial subset of a moderately complex project and directing contractors and for cross-discipline coordination with other project team members to ensure the technical integrity of the project and to complete assigned work activities across all phases of the project are delivered in accordance with BP, HSSE, and ethical standards and in compliance with all relevant statutory requirements.

The Project Manager is part of the Eagle Ford Midstream Asset in Cuero, Texas within BPX. The position is within the construction team and supports both the pipeline operations and construction organizations. The primary function of the role is project management and planning, but the individual must have experience in, or desire to learn, construction management. Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Track shipper put on line dates and project milestones/progress in a scheduling system for the pipeline construction team

  • Host a weekly meeting for project stakeholders

  • Support creation of bid packages and bid process

  • Create material and service requisitions for the construction team.

  • Track spend against AFEs for construction team

  • Oversight of small pipeline construction projects or maintenance campaigns

  • Work within SAP to set up and maintain PMs for pipeline operations team

  • Manage pipeline/equipment records within SAP

  • Responsible for MOC development, and monitoring

  • Must possess willingness and desire to learn about Control of work and construction project management

  • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer

  • Strong competencies with SAP and Primavera

  • Experience in oil and gas operations or related industry experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage many different work streams at once

  • Personal commitment to safety and environmental awareness

  • Self-driven and self-motivated

  • A valid driver's license is required

  • Understanding of/experience working with Midstream Operations

  • Construction Management and Control of Work

  • Familiar with DOT pipeline requirements

  • Advanced computer/SQL programming

  • Project Management Skills

  • Experience with Purchasing and Supply Chain Management
