Rolfson Oil Outside Sales Manager (Oil & Gas) in San Antonio, Texas

Starting salary: Salary ($104,000 per year) plus commissions

Business Development Manager Job Purpose: Seeking an experienced individual with established local relationships in Oil & Gas and a proven track record of sales and growth. Builds and maintains fuel order volume and market share by locating, developing, closing and maintaining sales business relationships focusing on drilling rigs, fracs and related oil and gas sites within an assigned group of customers and/or territory. Visits customers and prospects in the field and local offices. Works with call center and the VP of sales to maintain and grow a stable, satisfied customer base throughout the region.

Job Duties:

  • Personally visit client sites and offices throughout the area of operations to generate sales, maintain and develop relationships and grow sales with clients.

  • Locates new customer relationships by networking, cold calling, and outsides sales.

  • Develops relationships with potential new clients and expands relationships with existing clients.

  • Closes new business deals by prospecting leads, developing and negotiating pricing, and closing sales and repeat order relationships.

  • Networks through various industry social events.

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

  • Helps grow market share and volume by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills/Qualifications: Selling & Closing Skills, Sales Planning & Time Management, Selling to Customer Needs, Market Knowledge, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism, Sales Reporting, Prior Oilfield Sales Experience is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2 years of oilfield sales / sales management preferred

  • Safe driving history- No DUI?s in the past 5 years
