Kinder-Morgan is seeking a proven leader with relevant skills and experience to join our team based out of our Tennessee Natural Gas (TGP) compressor station in Batesville, MS (also supporting the Greenville, MS compressor station). Essential duties and responsibilities:
Supervises the operation and maintenance of district facilities to ensure their safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
Ensures the implementation and enforcement of all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
Responsible for safety program, environmental compliance, governmental compliance, employee training and development, facility security and personnel functions.
Ensures compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations affecting natural gas operations.

High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of the company policies & procedures and government regulations relevant to pipeline operations.
- Prior supervisory experience; or a minimum of 5 years experience in the natural gas industry.
Certifications, licenses, registrations
- Possess a valid driver's license and meet company insurability requirements.

Ensures current security measures protect company assets while preserving the safety of the general public, customers, and company personnel.
Supervises general pipeline operations and maintenance activities and DOT/PHMSA compliance activities within the area of responsibility.
Reviews progress, directs changes in priorities and schedules as needed to assure work is completed in a safe, efficient, reliable and timely manner.
Provide leadership and oversee the planning and direction of activities of the Catlettsburg area.
Reviews the status of the monthly forecasting during the fiscal year.
Manage, plan and forecast the Capital and O&M Budgets for the area of responsibility.
Establish employee goals and conduct performance evaluations of direct reports.
Participate in the development of O&M procedures, site specific procedures, project scopes and work plans.
Develops short and long-term plans, goals and objectives within the District operations.
Remain current on field operations developments.
Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns.
Computer skills; knowledge of various operating systems, and other company software such as OpsAlert, OpsInfo, MAXIMO, Wonderware, Dameware, PSS View.
Participate in Area Public Aware & P/L Damage Prevention Programs.
Work effectively with other Kinder Morgan service groups such as D9 Management Group, D9 Technical Services
Group, D9 Administrative Group, and D9 Damage Prevention Group.
Develop and maintain good working relations with landowners/farmers along our P/L ROWs.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions.
Must be able to frequently enter confined spaces, climb to and work from elevated platforms, ladders, excavated areas, walkways, etc.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds in awkward positions, and 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Field activities may include walking to and amidst work and/or construction sites, climbing in and out of trenches, working around heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
Must be available for responding to emergency situations 24/7.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Four year college degree in a technical area.
Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, And Outlook. Experience with various operation systems and other company specific software; Asset Management Software (Maximo), Incident Management Systems (IMPACT), Learning Management Systems (LMS), etc…
Mathematical skills: Proficient in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
