The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) organisation is a driving force behind the creation of greater value in the company. We are responsible for the financial and legal functions, providing professional support and advice, and for representing the group in financial markets. A key task for us is to ensure high levels of ethical and financial compliance with corporate and external requirements. By means of active stakeholder management, CFO will manage the market perception of Statoil in Norwegian and international financial markets.
As part of the Business Solutions team in Finance and Control, be a change agent for driving functional improvement around the following:
Engage F&C teams to seek areas of improvement to drive efficiencies especially around processes, documentation, standardization and automation
Responsible for execution of changes and improvements and for driving functional excellence
Adapt and react quickly on functional requirements and prioritizations
Support new business integration on F&C matters
Support Financial model governance, structure and compliance
Support Master data and General Accounting as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/IT preferred
Demonstrated project management skills
Demonstrated ability to improve and automate accounting processes
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in English, both oral and written
Good understanding of Statoil Governing system
7-10 years of relevant experience preferred
Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications

Ability to follow through on tasks execution from beginning to the end of the process
Ability to drive changes and influence across organizational boundaries
Ability to live by "I am safety" expectations
