Job Description

This is an entry level position with expectations the candidate will perform at a high level with close supervision and training. This position will assist in the request of title documentation and analysis of title/lease provisions, deeds and other documents. This person should be able to read and interpret leases as well as setup DOI decks with direct supervision.

Duties should include but are not limited to the following:

Work closely with senior level analysts to learn and understand the processes and procedures

Route documentation received and input by lease records to Division Order related to ownership changes as necessary

Enter basic lease/ownership information with direct supervision

Add information to remarks screen in QLS/PRA when necessary

Update basic lease/ownership information in associated Statoil system(s)

Maintain ownership through transfers, corrections, money transfers and suspense changes

Cross reference and send documents to scanners for input into Documentum

Request new vendor numbers for transfers and maintenance

Communicate with owners on lease/title issues and questions

Request title curative/leases/conveyance documents from owners

Assist Analysts with the handling of owner inquiries as needed

Assist Rental analyst with the mailing of lease payments as needed

Handle clean-up tasks when directed by analysts or manager

Assist senior level analysts in assigned geographic area as necessary to ensure completion of responsibilities in a timely manner

Handle special projects as directed by senior analysts or manager

Approve and monitor transfers for accuracy.

Research voided checks and funds transfer’s problems and correct issues

Verify accuracy of information


Minimum experience of bachelor degree or 2 years in Land Administration or Land
